How To Track Your Expenses Using the Meet Cleo App
Meet Cleo is an artificial intelligence money-managing assistant.
I was introduced to this app by Emma Drew of emmadrew.info. I've recently joined her community because I'm looking for ideas to make and save more money.
Her Facebook post led with
"Who wants a free fiver?"
Yes that did get my attention but I was more interested in knowing more about how it would analyse my expenses.
I've been trying to do this using an excel spreadsheet but it has always been quite cumbersome and time consuming.
Emma shared her affiliate link and said that she would get £5 referral and anyone signing out also get £5 credited to their account. Sounded like a win win situation to me so I was alright with that.
I signed up and got taken directly to Facebook messenger where Meet Cleo started to ask me questions.
I must admit I was a bit hesitant at first. So I made sure I did a bit extra research and so did a Google search for the term "What is Meet Cleo?"
I read a couple of review and it all seemed legitimate to me. I also wanted to make sure it was safe to share my bank details. I read on their site that it has bank-level encryption and security and is read only.
That gave me some reassurance and so I took the plunge.
I noticed it had the capacity to link up more than one account but I decided to go with just one for now.
I knew I'd done the right thing when I asked the question:
"What is my balance?"
The response was instant.
I was most impressed when I set up my bill and budget which took just seconds. It was able to let me know instantly exactly how much I had to spend to the end of the month after factoring outstanding bills.
Better still it also analysed my spending telling me how much I have spent by merchant.
It gave me instructions as to how to claim my £5 which I did. It said that it would credit my account within the day. As it was a Sunday when I set up the account I didn't expect the money to appear on that day. The £5 did appear in my account by lunch time the next day.
